MOS Expert-Pass exams in Word or Excel to earn a Microsoft Office Specialist Expert certification. Being certified as an MOS Expert demonstrates you have advanced skills in key Office programs. Course details Demonstrate your knowledge of Word 2019 by becoming a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS). Get training to prepare for the Word Associate certification exams for Office 365 and Office. Microsoft Office Specialist: Expert (Microsoft 365 Apps and Office 2019) earners have expert level skills to use the basic and advanced features of MOS 2019.

Due to the continued difficulties resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and international travel restrictions, Certiport has decided to cancel the August 2021 in-person Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) World Championship event and go completely virtual in 2021. This decision was made after considering all alternatives and gathering input from our Certiport partners throughout the world.

National Championships around the globe have been canceled, postponed, or moved to a virtual format. We hope that you understand the need to move the World Championship to a virtual event in 2021 based on the current circumstances.

The 2021 MOS Virtual World Championship is planned to be to be held in the fall of 2021 and will follow the same format as the previous World Championships. National MOS winners will compete alongside other national winners and take a MOS competition exam remotely.

What is the MOS World Championship?

The Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship presented by Certiport, Inc. is a global competition that tests students’ skills on Microsoft Office Word, Excel^® and PowerPoint^®. Top students are invited to represent their respective countries at the World Championship. In some countries or regions, students are required to participate in a National Championship, and the winners of that event continue on to the World Championship.

Individual partners/countries may have additional published rules.

How do I compete?

Get certified to compete! When you take a qualifying Microsoft Office Specialist exam in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, you can enter into the MOS Championship and you could be chosen to represent your country!
